Breathability
Cement render and impermeable paint trap moisture in solid walls. Lime plaster and mineral paints let the fabric behave as it was designed to.
Keeping what matters
Cornices, architraves and original joinery are worth restoring where they survive. Replacements rarely carry the same profile or crispness.
